About Plant- Chinese banyan is an evergreen, small or medium-sized banyan tree with a dense, spreading crown; it can grow up to 25 metres tall and develope numerous slender aerial roots from the branches. Ficus microcarpa is cultivated as an ornamental tree for planting in gardens, parks, and in containers as an indoor plant and bonsai specimen.The plant can produce fruit all year round. The plant is also used in traditional medicine in India, Malaysia, China and Japan.
Ficus Microcarpa (Chinese Banyan Tree) Care
Light-Succeeds in full sun to partial shade.
Soil- Prefers a moist, fertile soil.
Water- No need too much watering, but put water after 3-4 days.
Temperature- As a tropical and subtropical tree, it is suitable for temperatures above 20°C all year long.
Fertilizer- Use any organic fertilizer.
