About Plant- Gonialoe variegata, formerly known as Aloe variegata, is a small, stemless succulent, up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall and up to 9 inches (23 cm) wide, with 18 to 24 smooth dark-green or brown leaves arranged in 3 ranks. Each leaf is up to 6 inches (15 cm) long and up to 2.4 inches (6 cm) wide, irregularly variegated, alternately dark green and whitish. The leaf margins are sporadically armed with tiny, white teeth.
Gonialoe Variegata Plant Care
Light- When growingAloes indoors, place your plants near a southern or southwest-facing window that gets plenty of bright, indirect light.
Outdoors, provide light shade, especially during the hottest parts of the day.Soil- Plant Aloes in a well-drained soil specially formulated for cacti and other succulents or make your soil mix.
Temperature- When temperatures shift below 50 °F (10 °C), it is time to bring your plants back inside. Maintain a room temperature above 60 °F (15 °C).
Watering- These succulents do need regular watering. Water deeply, but only when the soil is dry. Cut back on watering during the winter months.
Fertilizing- Aloes generally do not require fertilizer but may benefit from the extra nutrients. Feed with a fertilizer for cacti and other succulents in spring and summer only.
Pruning- By removing damaged and excess parts, you can promote health and growth in yourAloe.
